Brunello di Montalcino

 

 

Brunello di Montalcino is the “King” of the italian wines.

It has a full and harmonius aroma, with plum and blackberry notes. Very fine wood presence.

It presents as supple and balanced on the palate with a persistent and strong wood fruit back-taste.

Suggested food pairings include grilled meats, noble game, pastas with gravy and tomato sauce, and aged cheeses.

It is better if drunk after 5 years from the harvest. It matures until 15th years.

During this period, we suggest to keep the bottle in a dark ambience with temperature of 13-15 °C.

It is absolutely necessary to lay down the bottle.

Aged: 4 years - a minimum of 2 years in french oak barrel with size 3000 litres

Refinement: 4 months in bottle
